Born and raised in Bossier City, LA, DJ Shoeshine has been perfecting his skills for over 10 years. Recognizing his interest in Broadcasting at a young age, DJ Shoeshine decided to pursue Telecommunications in college knowing at the time that his career path would be in Television Production(though he had been "Backyard DeeJaying" for years). After completing his college career, Shoeshine began interning for a local television station. However, he quickly realized that his passion was more for holding a microphone and spinning records than it was for holding a camera or being in front of one. Recognizing his true passion and switching focus, DJ Shoeshine began devoting his time and attention to Deejaying.

His laid-back personality and electrifying voice have earned hime a wide range of fans throughout the Shreveport-Bossier area. Set apart by his unique name given to him by childhood friends for the way he kept his shoes extremely clean, and identifiable through his tone and energy, DJ Shoeshine has traveled and entertained throughout many parts of the Ark-LA-Tex. From fashion show stages to the university parties, he has provided exceptional service to not only the black community, but to audiences of various backgrounds, gender, and race. Using his skills mostly on the road through parties, clubs, and events, he now desires to expand his career to the more syndicated side of deejaying, radio. DJ Shoeshine's successful experiences, determination, and propensity to learn make him the perfect candidate for a radio personality.
